AI-assisted SEO content — draft fast, publish as a person

An AI assistant can speed outlines, title variants, and first-pass drafts. Google does not ban AI-assisted pages when they are helpful and people-first — but mass-publishing thin drafts mainly to rank is spam. You review, edit, and click publish. Pair this with the Create a site with AI guide when you are still defining the site.

Before you start

  • A real search intent or customer question you can answer from experience or verified sources.
  • Willingness to fact-check and rewrite every draft before it goes live.

Start from real search intent

Write the query or job-to-be-done in one sentence before you open any assistant. Example: “How do I verify my WordPress site in Search Console?”

Do not ask an assistant to “write 20 ranking pages on hosting.” That is search-engine-first production — the opposite of people-first content.

Use AI for outlines and title or snippet variants

Ask for a heading outline and 3–5 title/meta description options. Pick one honest pair; discard keyword stuffing.

Verify titles against the Titles & result snippets guide on this hub. The visible H1 and the HTML title must match what the page delivers.

People-first edit pass

Rewrite with your facts, examples, and limits. Add what only you know: screenshots, policy details, measured results.

Run the Helpful content & people-first checklist and the Write pages people actually want habits. If you would not send the page to a customer as-is, do not publish it.

Internal links and hubs

Link related guides and product pages so crawlers and readers find your topic cluster. AI drafts often omit internal links — add them by hand.

See Internal linking & hubs on this hub for architecture patterns.

Publish, then measure in Search Console

Submit or wait for the sitemap, verify coverage in Google Search Console, and watch queries — not vanity word counts from the draft tool.

AI does not guarantee rankings. Isolated, crawlable WordPress plus honest content still matter more than how the first draft was typed.

You finished this step.

Next: titles & snippets, then helpful content systems.
